As 2014 draws to a close, I'm saying a prayer of thankfulness for all of the blessings we've received this year. We've experienced plenty of twists and turns, but we're ending the year as a healthy family of four, all of our extended family is in good health and there is even a new baby (my sister's!) on the way. Jonathan and I have both enjoyed positive career growth this year, and Gerald & Joan continues to prosper. I've been inspired to return Gerald & Joan to its vintage-tinged roots in 2015, so expect to see designs from the 1910s to the 1970s, as well as two new blog features -- a film slide a day in January (and maybe beyond) and a photographic look at a small Southern downtown each month.
Also, in honor of Gerald & Joan's second anniversary in January and my fifth year as a blogger, I've created a blog archive page that organizes every post I've ever written by year and month. It's pretty funny to look back and see how much has changed and how much is very much the same.
